Like all projects it's what it's worth to the next man, best advice would be to put it on eBay and see what happens! Though saying that I might be interested ![]() Andy Working towards Carry on camping! |

I wouldn't mind one of those 110's in front of it
![]() As for 80's there is no definitive guide price. I was going for a '49 80 on ebay in the last few weeks. All numbers correct, but the price was heading in the £20k region. Then the Tw.T delisted it and Relisted with a BIN £ 30K ![]() |

Looking at the photos that is, in my personal view, too far gone to be restored as a Series 1 80" in the conventional way. The chassis has been modified (later rear cross-member), the bulkhead has been modified, it has an entirely inappropriate steering box fitted, and the rear body is shot. If all that is potentially for sale is what it in the photo, then virtually the whole vehicle will have to be sourced (and there are many very scarce parts that would have to be found). All you'd be getting was a tired chassis and bulkhead, and the axles.
That being said there are people who will "restore" anything. I feel that it has more relevance either are a donor for chassis components and bits of bulkhead to another project, but a more interesting project would be to use it as the basis of the recreation of a classic trialler, of the stylwe we all ran in the late 70s and early 80s. Either way, I don't think it would fetch the meteoric prices that some kits of 80" parts are going for, sadly. Ultimately it is worth what someone is prepared to pay. if you found that it was on a set of four matched, date-stamped, early wheels, they'd be worth quite a lot! |

Thanks for the replies guys.
I think eBay sounds like the way to go as I have no clue what to ask for it. I would have loved to have kept this and rebuilt it with my sons but unfortunately it isn't to be. Black wolf - how would I tell if they were the early wheels? I am guessing they have probably been changed a few times over during its previous life as a trialer though. |

Those 6.00x16 Avon TM tyres will excite a few restorers as well.
