Some of you may have seen this before, I have only just seen it and found it great reading and very informative. Happy reading.

Damn that's nice.
If I saved up for the rest of my life, do you think I could ask them to do mine? One that started out as a 2.4 TDCi 110 XS + New Defender 110 First Edition |

I must admit that I was drooling LOTS whilst looking through that..... only thing I would be dubious about is the fact that the whole build has been worked out, and then fitted inside a workshop.... I am sure people who overland/ work from a vehicle will agree that when you put things into your vehicle you think of the 'best' places to put things.... but then after a few week you have moved half of it around to make thing easier. But that is all soo permament from day 1... but then again, with that much money they would probably just buy a new ftruck and do it with the moddifications

I was slightly surprised they started with a station wagon.
With all that gear in the back, they clearly don't intend to use the rear for 3rd row seats. I have those Mantec window guards (which are awesome by the way) but they would be unnecessary if they'd started with a utility. They could then have fitted side lockers. I'm properly jealous not only of the 110 but the journey they'll be doing!!!
Hope there's going to be lots of filming going on and a DVD available at the end ![]() ![]() |

Don't be jealous, don't dream.
If you want to do it, start planning NOW and go for it! Brendan PS I would (correction am doing it) on a Ute, but much slower! |

I'm hoping to take a year out sometime in the near-ish future and travel to Mongolia and explore round there for a while. Unfortunately the current work situation and apparently the need to buy a house (pfft) is more important! ![]() One day though, one day... |
