Cable guide
Can you help/check this

I have loads of 16 - 30 amp thinwall automotive cable, that i usually use - but i needed some 2 core cable (red black) to finish wiring some fixed LEDs

LED draw for the complete run is 24w @ 12v so 2 amps - but they are cut down and split into 2 pairs.

The question - i ordered some cable (next day job not my usual - lucky if you get it in a week - supplier). Whats come wasnt what i expected, but i cant remember enough to decipher - so it this wire ok? on it it says 0.5mm2 (x2C)Seki Speaker Cable

Its supposed to be 6amp

I think it is but i wanted to check

2A down half mm cable will be absolutely fine.

Thanks - when i compared the gauge of the wire and the one supplied when i was soldering it was obviously better - just totally not the type i ordered, but its in and seems ok.
