This is a self monitoring tracker it is NOT monitored by a anyone but the owner. The tracker will text you if it is moved so it's not a case of finding your vehicle gone when you return to where you left it. You can follow its location speed direction etc on the live tracking App or website via Google maps.
If like me you've been looking for a decent tracker to protect your P&J that isn't going to cost you a small fortune to buy then a hefty monthly/yearly charge behold I've found one! I've also tested one by purchasing it and since have bough two more! I am no expert on the matter nor do I have anything to do with the company that's selling them so please read this, look for yourselves and make your own minds up. However I looked hi and low and this was by far the best deal I could find and I'm sure will appeal to many on here. The tracker deal is for a 102-NANO MAGNETIC GPS TRACKER and with the forum discount code it will cost you just £34 to purchase and you will get a free hard wire kit with it as well. I'm not sure if you get a sim card with it I did with mine but I didn't get it on this deal. I'll put the SIM card link up as well the SIM cards are free you just have to put credit on it. I've just spoken to a friend who has just purchased one he said he did get a SIM included with £5 credit on it. The trackers and features are great I think! They have their own App and website which you can see live tracking via Google maps and get to see the last 90 days history of where the vehicle has been where its stopped for how long it stopped. The speeds the vehicle was driven at and what roads it done those speeds on! You can listen in to whats being said in the vehicle as well. The features include: Change the password Authorisation Single Locating SMS locating GPRS Auto Tracking Absolute street address GPS drift suppression Location based service (LBS) Remote Listening Data logging & Loading Shock Sensor Alarm Geo-fence Movement alert Over speed alert SOS alert Low battery alert GPS blind Spot alert Three sleep modes Status Check Time Zone GPRS economy mode Since owning the second Tracker I've contacted the company and got a deal/discount code for all forum members. It's NOT a group buy anyone can buy one by typing in this code '102car' as they checkout So the website you need to visit: https://www.rewiresecurity.co.uk/102-nano-...-wired-kit The sim cards come from http://www.lebara.co.uk/ If you do buy one there is a box you can type a comment in type in the forum name I'm sure if there is anything else on their website members fancy we might be able to get another deal/code from them Hope this is useful to members 2010 Defender 90 HT The longer I live..... The better I was! |

I did the same and was told ‘Warning: Coupon is either invalid, expired or reached its usage limit!’ the same deal now would cost £54.98 that is for the tracker, sim card with credit and the hard wire kit so it’s still not a fortune.
Also noted that as with all our trackers you will receive your first year to our UK based web tracking platform www.gpslive.co.uk free. After the first year it is only £10 a year, that’s under £1 a month. For those who like Welsh Mountains and narrow boats have a look at my videos and photos at.. http://www.youtube.com/user/conwy1 |

Can pick them up on eBay for ~£25. They're OK, but tk102 is just a generic gps tracker. I have one that I bought to play around with. Works OK but does lock up at times. The advantage of this kit is that it comes preconfigured.
Overall I think I'd spend the money on a skytag or similar. |

Bought one the exact same off ebay for around £30.00
When running on its own batteries it lasts for around 6-8 hours Fortunately it came with the car wiring kit included, not optional like the one shown. Easy to install and as said above, let's you set up Geofencing to alert you if the vehicle leaves your set area, you can then track it on a smartphone by sending sms to it and it replies by sending you Google earth coordinates, Very accurate to within a couple of yards My confidence has been writing cheques that my abilities can't cash for years. |
