ABS shuttle valve replaced and problem persists.
Guess what nightmare I worked on today. Big Cry Nanocom says shuttle valve been getting the two amigo lights on and off for a few years but always cleared and worked fine. Picked up a new shuttle valve in case some day it really failed. So last week the ABS came on while driving, low speed without touching the brakes at all . Shocked Kinda scary but I also have the deactivate ABS switch kit installed from Pace so flicked that and all good no issues, just no ABS or TC available.

So I changed the shuttle valve and same problem is still there Big Cry damn!!! Before I go and do some spendy ($$$) stuff and buy more things I just want to be sure. I need a whole new ABS block (module) or at least a modulator kit SWO500040 to rebuild the block right?

Yes I have gone through many, many many posts and found no definitive answer. Thanks team

Let me know your thoughts. Cheers

Look for bypass of shuttle valve switch. "Drobek" = The Small One - Discovery 2, "Blufínek" = The Blue Thing - Defender 130, and for me at least Ford Mondeo Smile

Thanks, I forgot about that. Can the shuttle valve cause the SBS to activate without brake pedal pressure? 2010 Range Rover MkIII Autobiography Super Charged (Idris)

Yes, it the faulty joint in the ABS modulator is "disconnecting" because of vibrations of car, it can lead to malfunction of the brakes, because the ABS system is sensing the "brake pressure" from the shuttle valve switches output. "Drobek" = The Small One - Discovery 2, "Blufínek" = The Blue Thing - Defender 130, and for me at least Ford Mondeo Smile

Update, pulled the shuttle valve again to do the bypass wiring and guess what? It has brake fluid on it Big Cry so looks as though I will need a new block and modulator. Any sources this excellent team can recommend which won’t make me weep at the cost. I’ll have to ship to Canada. Also I am currently looking for a wrecked D2 to see if I can get a decent used one.

Cheers and thanks. 2010 Range Rover MkIII Autobiography Super Charged (Idris)
