Winch corrosion on Warn 9.5ti - ideas on how to prevent it?
I have a Warn 9.5ti which arrived in my possession in a partially corroded state. Apparently these bridge design Warn winches are notorious for corrosion, and having stripped and repainted mine i'm looking to see what the best way of preserving it is.

Any ideas how to keep it clean in addition to / instead of the cover?

Any additional coatings will attract the road grime/salt anyway and I don't think a cover will keep it 100% clean either but is there a better way? I'm loath to wash it regularly as I have a long-standing dislike of car cleaning and can only muster the enthusiasm twice per year.

Any thoughts from long term winch owners / users?

Thanks a lot for your input. Thumbs Up
