I recently bought a heated front screen and wiring kit from VGS. Although the screen is not fitted as yet, I fitted the wiring harness and wired the heated mirrors (had been lying in a box for over a year) into this. Stays on for about 8 minutes on the timer. You could still buy the wiring kit and just use it for your mirrors, but maybe a bit of overkill as the wiring is rated to carry much more current than the mirrors pull.

I took a feed from the HRW switch to switch a relay and ran it from that. That way when i turned the HRW on the wing mirriors came on as its porbable you will need both,. Now in my 110 im planing to do the same but also use it to trigger a relay for a future HFW.

I wouldn't wire the mirrors into the heated screen circuit for the simple reason that the screen draws a fair bit of power when running and there will be times where you just want to heat the mirrors. They draw little power so you can run them through a switch without the need for a relay. An ignition switched supply from your auxiliary fuse box will ensure you don't run the battery flat leaving them on when you switch off the ignition.

I wired mine to the rear heated screen and not the front screen as I don't like to keep using the front heated screen as it can burn the wires out in the screen.

Another one for not tieing the mirrors to the screen. I have mine on a seperate switch and there's quite a few times that they get used seperately such as the screen is often clear but the mirrors mist up especially on these cold misty mornings we've been having. They're great for keeping the mirrors clear when there's a lot of road spray and also in the rain, times when the screen is allready clear.
With the draw on them all I did was put a switch after a 7.5 amp fuse |

TBH, I have not had a need to heat the mirrors and not the front screen so meets my needs and is a simple option
