Heat sink oil cooler - TDI 300
Hi Forum,

raping up the cooling in the TDI for tropics and towing

i have a larger type Heat Sink oil cooler but have a few questions around this and would like to hear your views:

-Heat sink oil cooler needs to be in direct air flow or can be mounted under the landy - ie below the passenger on the sub frame?

- Is is best to route direct or add the oil cooler to the existing Radiator cooler as well (Allisport)?

The oil radiator is dual pass with inlet and outlet size 1/4 NPT, will this be too restrictive for purpose?

1/4" NPT sounds very small, i can't imagine you'll get much flow through it and easily clogged with sludge?
