So my sticky starter has failed, and I need to remove it.
I gather I remove the water bottle and exhaust down pipe - but how?
where it attaches to the pipe that goes to the manifold - anything at the bottom end, or just let it move out of the way? then long socket extensions to get to the nuts and blots, it seems. But it's seeing the damn thing in then first place is tough!
Do I need to remove the turbo and other pipes there too?
I've also got an old immobiliser (spark rite) that I inherited fro the previous owner - it's flakey, so want to remove it - if people know where they immobilise, please pm - am assuming started and main electrics somewhere (as they are all off if not activated) and maybe fuel pump.
