Well while I agree with the payout, I'm assuming there will be some awkward questions to be asked. Which skinny badge worked on it last? And signed it off as fit for use? Or who first paraded the LR on this day and signed it off as fit for use with loose batterys.

I was thinking similar things.
When was the tyre damaged? you have to whack a LR tyre pretty hard to damage it enough to make it blow out... and how fast were they going to make it blow out? .... I had an XCL go once, but that was after a speedy trip down the M4/5 from Swinetown to W-S-Mare and it was an old knackered tyre. |
