Amazing how they can still get the basic spec wrong though.....

Thanks for posting that. I thought that was pretty good! Authentic sounding enthusiasm for what a Defender is about!
Good piece of marketing for JLR. Now they just have to follow up with the right product. In 1998 we drove over from Germany in our brand new Epsom green 90 Tdi and attended the 50th celebrations at Eastnor. I would love to do another visit soon. 1998 Tdi 90 SW, 2008 Td4 90 SW, 2012 2.2 90 SW, 2" raised Trailmaster/Terrafirma Heavy Track Raids, 255 MTīs, Recaro CSīs, anorak, wellingtons Last edited by Wild Card 90 on 28th Dec 2016 5:16pm. Thanks for posting. I really enjoyed this.
I have friends in America hunting down Defenders to purchase. The prices are eye watering such is the demand. The Heritage looked so cool. thanks again |

Nice find, good little programme.
It is great to see that enthusiasm for the brand and we do know that the states love the defender and it's previous models, What I don't get is why did they only take them and from what was shown in the programme is that they stuck to all the easy simple tracks, There is far more challenging there that the mere mortal such as themselves could drive. That would be far more impressive and really demonstrating the capability of the defender. |
