Two brake pedal switches?
I was informed that I have no brake lights today. Traced the problem to the black switch unit above the pedal (the ratchet on the plunger has worn)

What is the other switch for? The white/blue one

Cheers. Thought it might be to do with something like that. Is it to protect against double pedalling?
