Is there a switched live near front Interior Light?
I have a dash cam I would like to power via a switched live. With the Disco2 I used to own I was able to power a 12V to USB adapter. That way I can hide the dash camera behind the rearview mirror so it won't be in my sightline.

No, there's just the permanent live to the interior light.
You could either run something up from the dash or put an automatic relay in the headlining.
Running a cable up from the dash would be simple and robust, you just hide it behind the pillar trim.
One of the split charge relays would also be an option, you can get them for not a lot of money: https://www.pfjones.co.uk/towbar-electrics...tec3m.html but it's more stuff to go wrong and uses a little bit of current even when it's off. The automatic lighter sockets you can buy work on basically the same idea.

I just fitted a dashcam in my 90 and ran the cables up behind the dash and the A-pillar into the head lining, camera sits just behind the rear view mirror.

The Disco2 has a switched live in the headlining for the posh rearview mirror so I was able to use that.

I am having to look at a dual fuse box setup for this. Thinking of a relay to switch on the power to a fuse box when it gets power from the radio switched live. I like simple and neat, the automotive relays are just big and horrible. Well at least I can have a think over the Xmas holidays.
