well what ever it was seems to have stopped But I am still checking though. Also I won a full Jack and tool kit off a puma defender, so now I have a proper jack now and tool kit for the wheels. When I do get around of sorting the tyres out for this! Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back

I am hoping to get them next month, or soon as the 306 is through the MOT. This has to go through one now, and it may have expired now As soon as the last parts come for the 306 we are laughing! Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back

You !!!
Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge The Fuel Injector Spill Rail has decided to fail on the pump end, jugging nearly £20 quids worth of diesel!! It looks like its gone from the pump end not the injector side. Read a thread stating it could be just the washers failing. but its finding the part number for the banjo that goes into the pump. I can get the ones up for the injectors Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back Success is 90% Inspiration and 4 minutes Preparation # you can make it! |

Yeah Mash something a little bit retro, weather it will work or not that's the thing. Got to figure out where to route wiring, and make some brackets up. I am not too keen on drilling holes. Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back

Well that's procta's defender out of action until the parts arrive sadly.
I managed to get hold of a pair of washers from the place that deals with Land Rovers. Fitted the washers and I still had the same trouble. Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge turns out this area has a split Click image to enlarge you might not be able to make it out, but its right on the end where the banjo bolt goes through. So we are dead in the water sadly. But that didn't stop me getting on with other little things When I bought her one of the pipes had a right old split in it, so it was taped up until I found out what pipe it was, and sure enough I found a one for peanuts. Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge much better now! Click image to enlarge Also installed my tufflift today cracking piece of it that is with me been a short arse, it made fitting the old spare on a treat. rather than been a pain! Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge I have a few things on order now, and i am going to bite the bullet and buy my tyres while its off the road. My exhaust has seen better days has it not!! front section is about on its last legs ( only fitted it last year) Click image to enlarge the centre section thing was new when i bought the car two years ago, thats blowing now at both ends one end is about to drop off tale end Click image to enlarge the rear pipes dead Click image to enlarge So i have just ordered off the three sections as a get me through the mot, so that i can push budget for tyres and the fuel system, and what ever else its going to need. Not sure where i will take it for the mot yet, as the place that did the peugeot 306, the mot tester is a bit of a joker, with the advisories he has gave the car and struggled like hell to explain them! I have a timing belt kit ordered off too, so thats going to go on. A long with a few other bits and pieces that i have. Also My ICE came too, which I will show you at some point, I am thinking on buying a few 4 new speakers too, and a little two upgrades from mud. Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back

Well my New ICE is a CD Changer setup, I had the same setup that I installed in my 1st car which was worth more than the car at the time!
I am going to mount the CD changer under the middle seat with one of those storage inserts from YRM metals. Only way really I can mount it nicely plus its less trouble for wiring. Just a case of running the wiring from the dash area to the seat box. Also I have ordered off some speakers too! Which those will be the easiest upgrade to install. Isn’t a cd changer a little old tech now a days? When are the new wheels going on? Ray
