I hope so, this has been using nearly 200 quid a months worth of diesel! Shocked I have had to use the 306 to break the cost down!
also here's me thinking its been the EGR valve causing mpg problems, but that also has been faulty,
If I hadn't have clocked the leaking diesel last week, then I wouldn't have been any of the wiser. When we did the rear dampers we did notice diesel and oil, but we thought that it was off me over filling and the damper failing.
But after clocking the patches on the car park floor and having a look, and the fuel gauge dropping blow full quite quickly, I knew there was something wrong. Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back

Well looks like the MPG problem has been sorted! Very Happy the tank and rear driver side is bone dry, saves me a few quid in diesel now, so that extra few quid can go towards the next stage in the game, which looks like its MOT stuff. brakes and axles.
I may pull her off the road for a little while, so that i have the extra time to sort these out, only gripe is that the 306 and the landy have the mots due in the same month Evil or Very Mad also the 306s insurance is due too, Sad so i will have to put my trusty 306 forward, she should go through this year, with out any trouble. so that it i can spend more time on the landy. I have a sneaky feeling that the mot was a half arsed pass, some of the problems that were failures are still on the car! Shocked Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back

They are ok for the price, and the quality is alright too. Fitting is a little more easier ( not having to mess about getting them into the window) But they are a two man fit, one to mask off and hold in place, the other sits in side removing the tape.
Just have to wait and see how long the M3 tape lasts that the thing. But they are a neat cheap little upgrade. Just got make sure the surface is clean. Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back

Yeah also I need to give my 306 some love like that, inside and out. Another reason I got the sticker is for the heros convoy that I will be going to, So that others members on here can say hello, or at very least represent the defender2.

It was a fantastic weekend, shame the turn out was low for some reason. I did see someone off here lining up, not sure if anyone else turned up, A couple range rovers, ( one classic) a couple of series land rovers a few defenders, 4 to 5 free landers, the rest were just all discos. Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back
