[SOLD] Hannibal Awning 2.4m for 110 with cover
Powder coated black frame. With brackets for Patriot rack (rack has now been sold).

Barely used. The one time it was on the vehicle for a trip through France I found it collected dead flies which then dropped in your face when you unrolled it. I have had a cover made up by a local sailmaker, in black PVC coated material that is used for boat covers.

�400 collected from Canterbury, Kent.

Just to be clear - the hannibal awning will be sold with brackets so that it may be fitted to a patriot rack. Is that right? are the brackets steel or aluminium? when will the rack be for sale and how much will you be asking for that? need to count the pennies. thanks 110 Defender 300tdi & Penman trailer with ally exped top and roof tent

The Hannibal awning has the standard fitment brackets, I think designed to clamp on to a Hannibal roofrack. I think they are aluminium, but mine is powder coated so difficult to tell. I'll have a look next time I am in the container.

Patriot supply a spacer of powder coated aluminium which, with longer bolts, allows the bracket to clamp snugly around the patriot rack. I found the brackets clashed with one of the removable uprights for the luggage rail so had Patriot make a special cutaway version to allow me to use the awning and the luggage rail at the same time.

Sorry, patriot rack now sold.

The rack has sold since I first put the awning up (I'll amend the original post to make that clear). So only awning available now, but with brackets to attach to a Patriot rack, or will mount directly to a Hannibal rack.

Hi Inigo,

I'm very interested in buying this from you - I'm in SE London so could pop down next weekend. Do you have any photos or measurements of the bespoke brackets? I've got a Front Runner rack which I think has the same cross section as the Patriot but I'm not 100% sure.

Photos of awning bracket spacer are now in my gallery, in the patriot rack folder.

Sorry, I'm away next weekend, except for Sunday evening. I'll also have to make sure I know where I put these spacers.
