Part number for Subwoofer grommet?
Hi folks.

Just about to fit my factory LR/Apline sub along with one of Martin's excellent looms and have just been weighing up the cable routing.

Looking at LRAnorak's excellent thread there is a clear picture of the grommet used by LR for the sub loom... but I can't find it in any of the parts diagrams.

I'm about to order some genuine parts form my local dealer so thought I'd add it to the list.

Can anyone help with a part number?

Here is the link to LRA's picture from his thread:

You'd have to find somebody that can measure it to be sure (it's usually inaccessible) but I think it's 276054, sealing bush, black, 6 x 41.5mm. It's one of those general purpose parts that gets used for different things in different places such as this:

Are you drilling a hole in your seat box lid or is there one there already?  1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top

I was planning to drill, Martin.

It doesn't have to be an exact match but I'd rather get a LR part and I think that LRA's suggestion of 276054 would actually be cheaper for me to collect from the dealers tomorrow than to pay for a generic one to be delivered, so if 276054 would do the job then I could go with that.

PS: I've got a massive collection of hole saws but it dawns on me that I should probably pick a grommet that matches a saw I already have.

Thanks both.

I'll give it a go.

Just called the dealer and they've added a grommet to the list for collection tomorrow.

Also found this older thread where, If I've read it correctly, it says that there is a second unused hole in the battery box that could also use this grommet to give a nice extra tap into the box.

I'm going to measure it after it arrives to see what size holesaw I need. 41.5mm would be the obvious (though they're only commonly available in 41.5) but I'll wait till I have the thing in my hand.
