Thanks guys.

@ Zagato - you are right, it is going well for what is a huge amount of work really. I'm using TJC in Norfolk and they are nice people who seem to know what they are about, and a full rebuild is a big logistical exercise to accomodate within a small business, so I don't envy them the task.

I've just been a little shocked about, after four years, how much I and the whole family have missed having the Landy around and taken her usefulness for granted. A recent week in the Lakes was a case in point - mud, dogs, bikes, hiking gear and the cream leather interior of my wife's 5 series was not a good combination. And it's Censored on the green lanes too Very Happy Fully Restored 89 110 CSW V8

Good Luck hope it goes well with the Landy

appears a number of us have BMWs as second cars and have found them a bit lacking in the off tarmac arena, first time I took mine off the road onto a nice grassy flat field it set fire to the grass underneath it. Perhaps one off our tuning friends on here should do BMs as well and I could buy a de-cat pipe DEFENDER 90 TDCI XS,

I hope everyone is well and your land rovers make you happy

Great looking vehicle
I'm building a 110 SW Utility in Beluga Black, using a galv chassis and new take-off shell. The bulkhead was going to be galvanised........no it was galvanised and painted..........but after after getting back into the build after a couple of years I found out that the it was twisted......... Evil or Very Mad
I purchased a brand new one and resprayed it and hey presto the doors shut properly.
Fitted a 4.0L GEMS and auto box
I'm using 4x4 Reborn to help me leap frog closer to useable stage (never be finished).

@ Romadog

Hey, I was admiring what must have been your vehicle on the ramp at 4x4 Reborn back in January when I visited them looking for a supplier. That's going to be a seriously nice truck, and Steve seemed like a good bloke who clearly knows his stuff so good luck with the rest of the build - you'll get there! Fully Restored 89 110 CSW V8

Now that I think of it, I guess your bulkhead was one of the cautionary tales that helped persuade me not to do that Shocked

Excellent colour choce Smile

About ten years ago I had the building of a 110 costed up by TJC after they were featured in one of the magazines. Couldn't quite run to it in the end and bought a Discovery instead, but their work looked excellent. Darren
