Positioning of Lazer light RS-4 lights
Folks I would like your help and assistance. I'm considering purchasing a pair of RS-4s
Position wise its a choice of two locations either on top of the bumper directly beneath the headlight units or do I mount underneath the bumper in the same location or closer together?
Or do I purchase a single St-8 and mount it on top of the bumper in the middle? Any thoughts, comments or pictures of any of the 3 possibles would be appreciated.
Built into bumper or grille mounting options are not something Im a fan of visually. Thanks in advance.

Cant you just buy some new headlights to replace the ones on there now ? Imo the front of your landy looks great as it is and would not change it Thumbs Up 1996 Golf Blue 300Tdi 110 Pick up.

I guess thats a very sensible option, but I am a bit nervous that if I buy a pair of £600+ LED replacement headlights that the lights wont be any better to be honest and then I would be going down the Lazer light route as well.
If I went down the new headlight route I would like DRLs so what makes / options do you folks suggest? 2015 HT XS 90

I'm toying with getting a pair of RS4s, and my idea was to mount on top of the bumper below headlights. Only thing is, I usually stand on the bumper at that spot when getting onto the bonnet to access the front of the roof rack. I suppose I could try and avoid standing on the new and expensive lamp? Under bumper would look good I think, but possibly prone to impact damage if I were ever to venture off road with it, but that's unlikely.
Look up posts about the RS4 on here, I'm sure I saw a silver 110sw with them mounted on the bumper, but can't remember who owns it.

Hello

I like the idea of one single one under grille in middle (larger one)

Or some one fitted it behind the mesh under the lower grille and looked great.

Under bumper not keen....

Also wait until this next week 'black Friday' if your buying 2 a nice discount could be had....

I have a set of these to fit to my Bowler 90... Some things to note (On the Bowler anyway)... The grill will need to be cut to enable the lights to fit without overhanging the bumper to much. (on a truck with A/C anyway)
With regards LED headlamps, Our 110 has a set of Noldens (supplied by Brendan at 4x4 Overland) and they are great, However they need careful setup to get the best out them.. i.e alignment... I believe Brendan also supplies a small headlamp loom that enables the high beam function to use both lo/high headlamp outputs... This is on my shopping list next as you can never have too much light...

Hope this helps, and feel free to drop me a pm if you want to ask anything further

Regards

Ours work really well on the top of the winch bumper, slightly set back from the edge so the bumper will hit anything first !

Or go the whole hog and have RS-4s in the grill, ST-4s inset into the bumper and a Triple-R 24 up top Wink

I noticed these headlights in your previous thread.
They look like these, which are american spec, DOT approved, however I doubt if they are E marked and thus would be road legal in Europe...

Very nice motor! Thumbs Up Cheers, Vincent
