Suspension question
I am about to remove a 2" lift and will be going to fit standard height springs. My question is can I keep the +2 shocks or will they need replacing?

Thanks

Hi Andy,
If your shocks don't bottom out now, then simply changing the springs shouldn't cause any problems going up. The axle won't move further up than it does now, once it's hit the bump stops.
It may cause the new shorter springs to dislocate at full down travel, though that can be fixed with dislocation cones.

If it was me, I'd fit new shocks matched to the standard height springs so it rides better. Particularly at the front, as you'll be doing half the job when the springs go in. The back shocks can be easily changed later, without taking the springs out again.

Many thanks. I think that I am going to remove it all and start again 👍
