..this is what i did..
1)put key in to slot, turned it so i can open window
2) let open window on driver side, then close door
3)left key inside slot but turned off (initial position)
4)open engine hood and just wanted to clean it up from dust, top up windshield water tank, things like that..
Suddenly, alarm kicked in and freaked me out..apart from excitement that i can actually jump quite far when motivated(alarm siren shock), i was wondering, how you guys disable alarm when you working on your trucks? Or you have to put in ignition key and turn it on so all bulbs on dashboard appear(doesn't sound like a proper way to do it)?? I thought that, just by having key inserted and left inside vehicle, alarm will not kick in..so, how to make alarm not kicking in while you working on/around car?
