Hood and sticks question
In a fit of eBay blindness last night, I now appear to be the owner of a hood for my LR90 described only as "Defender galvanised hoops and exmor trim canvas" (see below for pic)

I can't pick it up for a couple of weeks, but the price was right. Question is, am I going to need anything else in order to fit this to my 1989 90 TD? I have an Ifor Williams top on it at the moment, but like the idea/look of the canvas hood.

The very brief description suggests it includes the hoops. Not sure if it's cab or body fit - looks like body fit from the photo. It's a take off so I'm hoping the guy will have the bits - but it would be good to know what to look/ask for in addition to the hoops and the canvas.

Assuming you have the hooks and cleats on the top of the tub for the rope/straps then the other part you will need is the galv rail which bolts onto the back of the truckcab and the top of the tub (along with the dzus fasteners and angle section to hold the front of the roof down) these are mega money new but do come up on ebay occasionally. I doubt you have one fitted as the Ifor Williams top doesn't fit with it still in place. You might also need to modify your spare wheel bracket if it fits on the bulkhead as the wheel will now rest against the rail rather than the bulkhead.

Thanks chaps. Will make sure I get every last bit of metal he's got when I go to collect it, then see how I get on. Planning to fit a swing away for the spare anyway so that won't be a problem.

Just checked with the seller. It does include the hoops and the full width drainage channel. No clamps apparently, but I believe I can get those from Exmoor should I decide to replace my Ifor Williams top with it.

Looks like it could have been a good buy.
