[For Sale] Overfinch Apollo wheels & BF Goodrich tyres
I have four Overfinch Apollo wheels (18") with BF Goodrich 285 tyres (please note that Overfinch usually have 265 tyres on these, but I wanted them 20mm 'fatter'). They have only done 2,000 miles (I can prove that) and were £2,100 new (and I think are £2,300 now), but I'm selling them for £1,400. Obviously no scratches or chips. I can't send them, so they are pick-up only (I'm in Reading). The tyres have white lettering on the inside (if you want them turned around). Please email me on info@tebe.co.uk

Would very much appreciate any constructive feedback - have I priced them too high? I thought they would be quite popular, seeing as they are way below the buy-new price, and only 2,000 miles on the tyres. Before I start peddling them in the usual places, I would very much like opinions on the no interest - thanks. (I never know what to price stuff at! I've sold stuff off too cheaply in the past, and then kick myself afterward. I once had 13 people phone me within an hour of advertising something. I knew I had made a mistake with the pricing then!) Now left.

I think it's a fair price, you just need to find the right person. There are several Facebook pages you could try them on, but whether that's any better than sticking straight on Ebay I don't know. GLWTS James

Personally i think they look a bit Halfords and over the top on a softly sprung Defender. They wil scratch easily if used in anger and have little sidewall protection for bumping over kerbs at Waitrose. But that is just my obsevation. 2008 RS4 gone, 123d M Sport, and a Puma 90 XS..

Well I like them and if I had a more modern defender I would snap your hand off.

Having had 18" wheels and bfg at's on a 110 before all be it i think mine were 265's I never had an issue with off roading, Driving over a kerb, a policeman ( a sleeping one at that) or navigating the supermarket car park

I'm sure the finish is more than durable enough given overfinch's reputation and given that the side wall sticks out well past the rim you would struggle to damage the rim without doing something really stupid.

Anyway good luck with the sale and I hope you find someone that appreciates them for what they are and actually wants to buy them!

It's very good price IMO. If I didn't 2 sets of 18s lying around I would of had them.

I have the black ones on my car.
They are great wheels and tyres. i've been off road at Walters arena and they were great, no marks or scuffs.
Its a reasonable price.

Good luck Thumbs Up
