Hi all,
Anybody know where the heated rear screen timer is located or how it’s timed. (Puma xs 2009) Is it part of the relay or a separate unit like the front screen? I cannot find it on any of my wiring diagrams. It must have some sort of timer as it goes off after a few minutes use. It seems like it is something obvious but I cannot see it. Any help on this will be useful as I am trying to find out why my heated rear screen has stopped working. Regards to all Fletch. |

Hi, yes the led on the switch comes on then after a few minutes goes off. Thats what made me think it was timed.

Yes front screen works ok, and I can feel the relay for the rear working as I operate the switch.

If it’s of interest to anybody, I found out what is timing my heated rear screen.
It is a timer relay behind the dash next to the hrs switch. I’ve had the Landy from new so it’s how it left the factory. It’s the kind of thing you would never think about until something goes wrong and you are trying to fault find using wiring diagrams that don’t comply with the vehicle. Regards to all Fletch. |
