Alan your right if you log a fault before the warranty runs out and they don't fix it in your warranty time you are still covered.

I did that on one repair then specifically done out of warranty.

But all the faults are logged...depending on the selective dealer memory (urm...in writing i think i did Wink ) Mike

Mike it has happened to me...to save the argument give customer service a bell and inquire Thumbs Up
Let us know how you get on

Edit.... you will get told as well that if that is the case that the warranty would last forever thats why it only lasts the length of the warranty

it would come under "unreasonable" in terms of contract law. You remain covered by law, no matter what LR says. Their T&Cs cant override the law. Granted if it was 18 months later you'd struggle, but a part replaced in the last weeks of warranty which then failed a week out of warranty, you'd be ok. if LR said no, I'd have taken them to a small claims court. If this ever happens to me then I will most definitely let you know what happens Laughing

Mike they may help you and call it a good will gesture...but the fact re-manes you are not covered under warranty after your warranty runs out if a part fails NEVER TAKE LIFE SERIOUSLY. NOBODY GETS OUT ALIVE ANYWAY

Yeah can do that in Feb. I have a cracking route. There's an excellent section with a really steep drop. it's like driving off the edge of a kitchen table Laughing
