I did that on one repair then specifically done out of warranty.

But all the faults are logged...depending on the selective dealer memory (urm...in writing i think i did ) Mike

it would come under "unreasonable" in terms of contract law. You remain covered by law, no matter what LR says. Their T&Cs cant override the law. Granted if it was 18 months later you'd struggle, but a part replaced in the last weeks of warranty which then failed a week out of warranty, you'd be ok. if LR said no, I'd have taken them to a small claims court. If this ever happens to me then I will most definitely let you know what happens
