Hey all,
Newby here looking for advice and thoughts....have my keswick green defender and want to upgrade the steel rims to some alloys... favoured choice atm are these 18"s from Bowler, in Anthracite: http://tmdtuning.com/shop/bowler-wheels/ Reckon they'd suit keswick green pretty well...any thoughts? size-wise too, hopefully 18"s won't require to much fiddling with suspension?! Consensus on here would seem to be not, but happy to be corrected. Pic of my defender below to help with decision-making! thanks![/img] |

Welcome on board. For my money, I'd be going for Wolf rims, as they look great on a Keswick Land Rover
If you're set on alloys though, the ones you've chosen will be fine and with correctly sized tyres, will not require any suspension changes. thank you - yeah, think i'm set on the bowler, though at the price, the wolf rims certainly are tempting!
being swayed by the blindo alloys too.... http://www.paddockspares.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=blindo anthracite again me thinks... cheers! |

Welcome. I got Wolfs. And Blindo's. Though wolfs are on my 90, which are more relevant

I reckon that if ya're gonna fit 18" anthracite wheels on that car, ya'd need to have other anthracite/black stuff on the vehicle to set them off, because IMHO, 18" anthracite wheels on their own would be "too much" on an otherwise outwardly appearing standard vehicle.
Have you considered the O.E. 16" Defender "Dual Finish" alloys,....which look REALLY good with Keswick. Pickles. |

thanks for the comments - back to square one then!!!
all your landys look awesome - thanks for the pics too. have to say, TJ101 / Jomara, the bowlers looks awesome on yours thinking once the alloys are on, new front bumper - mines corroded a fair bit, upgrade the headlights and make sure everything is in top shape for winter. i'll let you know how i get on! still thinking it's between the bowler and blindos - like the wolfs but reckon they're similar too what i've got which i'll keep for when i fancy a change... impossible to make a decision - bad enough with lunch options let alone alloys!! |

In my vast collection of photos showing wheels I only have one of a Keswick Green, but may help...
