Tow bar bolt sizes
Hi, I removed my td5 towbar to repaint and have safely stored the bolts to reattach it!

Does anybody have the sizes of the bolts that are used as I will be quicker to buy new than to look for the old ones!

Not knowing what type of tow bar you have fitted it will be difficult to say for sure, but they will either be M12 or M16 and should be about 50-75mm in length Thumbs Up Optimists say the glass is half full..
Pessimists say the glass is half empty..
Engineers say the glass is twice the size it needs to be!

M16 for a standard tow ball, minimum of 8.8 grade, probably 50mm in length. Personally I'd use washers under nut and bolts and nylocs nuts

As Miker, mine are M16 X 50.

High tensile.

Cheap enough and plenty on eBay.

I'm guessing that the OP is talking about bolting the tow bar to the chassis rather than the tow ball. Darren

Bolts
Correct it's the connections to the chassis I need.

Three bolts that go into the underside of the cross member

Two bolts that go through the front face of the cross member

Two bolts that fix the stays onto each of the chassis rails.
