Down by the egr, as youre looking in the engine bay, right hand side, buried in between many pipes, the pipe you changed on the right that connects to a metal pipe, the other end of the metal pipe is where it goes.
I had to get the wife to get mine on properly as my hands didnt fit... good luck! 2011 Defender DCPU 2.2 - https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic30623.html Instagram - @r22oyp Roy |

Click image to enlarge Keep following the metal outlet pipe from the intercooler ie passenger side(U.K. Rhd) It ducks turns ducks turns ducks turns then hides a bit. Think of the Big One at Blackpool. You will find the elbow at the opposite end from the intercooler tucked in quite tight against the block. . I found a silicon spray helped installation. ISTRC I actually dropped the water pump complete (sealed)from its mountings to help get at it. Looking at this pic I shall point you at the mounts I removed. |

Click image to enlarge I think I recall dropping off the auxiliary drive belt and undoing three? Bolts that mount the water pump to the block, keeping all water pipes connected. This allowed me to manoeuvre the metal pipe back onto the elbow. This was a short while ago so my memory is foggy. This was also on the drive and my hands don't work like they used to so you may not find removal helps you. |

NO KIDDING it's crazy mate. And things are fitted so backwards and tight it almost too much of a pain to want to work on her!
