how did you mount the DAB arial?

On the top right of the windscreen, The ariel came with the unit as well as a microphone for the bluetooth call making. So I removed the A pillar cover, ran the wires behind the instrument cluster and up the side of the screen.

Did you enjoy scrapping the paint off the A pillar for the aerial connection ?

i take it the aerial is an internal stick on then?

Yeah came in the box. i'd done some research on here and the rest of the net about dab aerials and if fitted right they seem ok.

I fitted an external one in the place of the original, was a bit pricey though, £47 if I remember correctly, worht it though Optimists say the glass is half full..
Pessimists say the glass is half empty.. Engineers say the glass is twice the size it needs to be! |

Didn't need to scrape anything, as long as the earth tab was on metal it was fine. The fact that you stick it to a surface surely can't mean it's vital it's bare metal

Fit an external one ! Miles better than the screen mount

Just fit a unit and use the factory original aerial for dab Mike
