are they rusted through? they are quite substantial and surface rust isn't a real problem imo 2014 - current ..... 2003 defender td5 90 (my car)

Well I spent the morning stripping the a frame and then cleaning up the bits, used the needle gun then angle grinder with wire brush and I think you are right they are not fantastic but not as bad as the looked at first, ordered new bolts for the bushes, and given the parts a coat of primer.
Going to finish them with POR 15 and put them back, give all the bolts plenty of waxoyl and hopefully if they need to come out again it won't be such a horror story. Ray |

Dam you never seem to spot thes things when you need them, I need to keep my eyes open now and see if I can find a set to restore prefrably with arms so I can re bush them.
