It's the vacuum pump. Very common - faulty part which they've now redesigned.
It's not an issue to keep driving (got mine fixed a couple of weeks after it went) but the dealers will do it straight away if you tell them in advance what it is (so they have the right part in stock). Do a search on here if yu want more background info and the specific recall number. One that started out as a 2.4 TDCi 110 XS + New Defender 110 First Edition |
