...and despite owning one, I really don't much like the Heritage front grille - very low-budget plastic.

I like the colour, and at least they did something 'special' / different. Agree on the grill though, does look very cheap and plastic up close. Everything comes down to cost in the end. Although I suppose that's why the Autobiography has more 'special' bits like the alloy bits and the leatherwork. 2005 Td5 | 90 Station Wagon | Tonga Green

The silver painted door hinges aren't a great feature either. Have considered replacing them with after-market brushed alloy ones, but think originality is a factor with the final edition vehicles. Not that keen on the silver painted bumper either and would have preferred galvanised. Despite those criticisms, I think it's the most successful of the "Celebration" editions, bearing in mind the price.
