Oh yes. I've done it in a 200tdi, 300tdi and TD5 but not yet in the Puma. The LR experience days teach you as much. The boy couldn't control the clutch enough to get going in high range so it was a good result!

I could do with a lesson really. I tend to drive mine like a car and have yet to try out that other funny gear stick

Have a go. Forget all mechanical sympathy, stick it in low range, handbrake off, start it up. Odd but good.
