Hello Swine&Small

I fitted one in 2015, as a way to view my first DTC (Diagnostic Trouble Code)...'making its regular appearance' (for some) P1103... Shocked (Mass Air Flow Sensor In Range But Higher Than Expected)

Overview...
The Gauge is small enough to be easy to mount, but large enough to be seen easily and operated.
The Gauge allows you to View then Clear Fault Codes + Monitor Key Engine Parameters, and provide
Average MPG, Current MPG, Engine Revs Etc...

When you get into it... it does more than you initially think, Trip logs etc, You can even set up additional (preferred) parameters that you want to Measure, (Monitor) Getting further into this you can measure the diameter of your Tyre's (giving rolling circumference) so that the trip mileage, average MPG is very accurate. If you want you can even change the colour of the Display to match 'exactly' the LR Green... Exclamation

If you go for a ScanGaugeII they have a good on-line (free) 'support' service....
You can download the PDF version of the User Manuals here... (Version 6) and this will give you a more in depth description...

https://www.scangauge.com/support/user-manuals/

I have the Ford Puma 2007> OBD-II DTC Fault Code List...(All 97 Pages of it... Shocked), If you want this PM Me.

I don't have direct experience of other (after market) Gauges (I've used OEM on-board computers fitted as standard to vehicles) so this is a limited 'assessment' of a 'retro fit' Gauge, but it works well, and is simple enough, when you have used it a few times.

Good Luck... SKIP
