Just a warning, but with those tins in the post and once delivered and digested I would be more worried about the amount of dangerous abdominal gas rising from the Welsh valleys than any nuclear attack For those who like Welsh Mountains and narrow boats have a look at my videos and photos at.. http://www.youtube.com/user/conwy1 |

What kind of preparations are you making? It is hard to think of anything useful to do in order to prepare. |

I'm not too concerned, we've got our own electricity and water supplies. The electricity is diesel dependent but if we were in for the long haul then it wouldn't be beyond us to bootstrap the biogas plant to run without the grid, then the whole village is sorted for electric too.
Got plenty of cows for milk and some spare we can eat, and stores of cheese to last for a while. Vegetables might be more of an issue |

It is not good in Syria.
Different forces in close proximity, one little "mistake", could set "something" off. Let's hope it doesn't happen. The Russians do not want to lose their "influence" in Syria. And We have another "issue" down our way, with the Chinese "building" islands in the middle of shipping lanes in the South China Sea, placing missiles on them, & warning that no-one is allowed to go there!!!,...yeah right. Pickles. |
