Hi, for financial reasons I need to sell my trusty 90. My 130 resto has reached the paint and rear tipper body funding stage, so needs must..
 Click image to enlarge 1988 defender 90 with a genuine defender 200 tdi fitted, properly.. Best driving 90 ive driven, it's had a full work through over the last 2 years. Full mot no advisories Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Points to note Engine rebuild to cure leaks, head gasket rear main/transfer seals etc. Disco transfer box, front and rear axles, swivels, new discs/pads/ some calipers, all new copper lines. All new suspension and bushes New exhaust, centre delete Rear crossmember, an outrigger, wax oiled New lights/seals/trim etc Work to bulkhead upper and foot wells, new seals inc screen, roof sealed Everything has been done properly, no bodges, bodywork straight (apart from below) doors very good and roof panel is very recent Additions Snorkel, rear tailgate converted to swing away, tdci denim twill seats ( luverly) and centre seat, all with covers, nicer steering wheel on extended boss Rock and tree sliders, powder coated new standard bumper, powder coated chequer plate Mint powder coated boosts with good BFG KM2 MUDs in 265/75 16, spare is steel with older tyre Bad bits Paintwork- been re sprayed in the past, perfectly respectable from a few yards but up close Stevie Wonder would grumble.. New paint to bulkhead not exact matchMinor dent in front drivers wing behind bumper No headlining to roof, cab window chatters a bit dash top is cracked but would recover Odometer stuck on 100k, no real history before me but I have a list of all my works and some pics Fuel gauge more erratic than Donald Trump I have a dented but salvageable puma bonnet that could go with her along with a rear storage drawer Got a lot of time and money invested in her, someone else can reap those rewards now, a decent re spray would reall set this off, well worth doing or just enjoy and use her as is!! I would like £5750 for her, I will pop her up on the usual suspect sites over the weekend. Thanks JOW, yes it has a certain je ne saisquoi, I get a lot of very positive reaction when out and about, it looks cool without being pimped and shiny! It's lovely to bomb around in as it drives so well
And thank you Bob, much appreciated, would be a pleasure to talk/ test drive/ inspect her with anyone interested.. I can get the use of the ramp and some time with my mechanic buddy who has done so much work on her too. Cheers. Thanks! Yes, that one will be missed, lots it time/effort there, and drove lovely..
