Sorry to post on your for sale thread, however who makes the Snap off quick release, is that from Startech?

whoever got this wont be disappointed...once your past the price... Shocked
its great, super feeling steering wheel, just about perfect shape and should have
been standard equipment on Defenders (IMO)...(or a clone from the LR Design team)
maybe on the replacement... Exclamation

Also cannot praise enough the snap-off system (supplied by FCX)...mine is always
removed now when left...one second removal / refitting, 2-3 seconds bag storage
and away... 12K use since fitting... No play with tapered locating pin design, positive
'snap' on engagement when fitted, top piece of kit...replaced screws with security versions
to go one step further (should be standard spec') otherwise great.

'Best Mod' Question ... probably yes because of security aspect...at least this one looks and feels so great
not just another layer of invisible £

But along with a Sat Nav, Sun Roof and the Puma Heater 'Deflector' (for me) certainly when used you
know you couldn't go back. SKIP

Hello JOW240725

We all have a 'wish list', if I didn't have one, and by chance drove a Defender with one, i'd know I'd want one too.

Mine came with the Startech, but I added the Snap Off.

When looking at Puma's I knew I defiantly didn't want the 'false airbag' looking standard wheel fitted...
What on earth were Land Rover thinking... Exclamation
Completely against what the 'true' Land Rover 'ethos' should be (IMO)... honest, (more than) fit for purpose...
no nonsense...anyway power steering made the smaller wheel OK and increased right elbow room (UK) goes
some way to easing things in that area.

So get it on (make it) your Christmas list (sorry I mentioned the C word) SKIP

I have a huge wish list! Which is totally why I bought a Defender rather than any other vehicle which is basically bulk standard. I'm working my way thru'.

I do have a plan for a Startech but just waiting to see if it works out, so fingers crossed! This one was my back up plan but is now sold Sad

I totally agree with the false airbag looking strange, The Startech does look like it's meant to be the Defender wheel, I find the Momo wheels a little too sporty for a standard Defender.

I'll keep my fingers crossed and see what happens! IF it doesn't work out I'll be keeping an eye for second hand ones! Thumbs Up James

I actually have one other Startech in black with silver stitch with a Startech boss for a 48 spline pre DSC vehicle

I fitted it for a photo shoot and then took it off and put it back in the box, didn't even drive the vehicle

This is owned by me personally so payment by BACS / Bank Transfer only

£350 inc carriage to mainland UK
