I saw it (like many others) at the Peterborough Land Rover show in 2015.
What surprised me is that it didn't have some kind of barrier round it nor a minder that I could see. The biggest suprise was how rough the poor thing was. I knew it had been restored several years back, but it was not the pristine show vehicle it could have been turned into. I'm not complaining - I wouldnt have wanted to see a concours vehicle - a 'Triggers Broom' where nothing on the damn thing was original and where it had been polished to within an inch of its life. From the sounds of it, we won't be seeing much of it in the future? |

I don't see why a valuation like that would stop it from being used in shows etc. It's probably the least likely to be stolen, and its not like its a perfect garage queen today! It would be a shame to hide it away.

No, I reckon ya'll still see it, I think they'll just "look after" it, not do any rough stuff with it, and maybe, when it is on display, it will be protected from crowds etc. Pickles. |
