United Kingdom 2005 Defender 110 Td5 DCPU Bonatti Grey
Interior Roof Mounting
Quick question - looking to mount a flip down DVD on the ceiling directly above cubby box in my 110DC.

What mounting points are there behind the roof lining? I know to start with I could line it up with the plastic rivet things, but are there cross posts behind the lining that I can tap in to?

Just want to try to do without removing whole headline. Wiring would be "fished" along lining to nearest pillar and down (probably to nearest 12V, wherever that is)

Cheers for help 2001 TD5 110 DCPU in Bonatti Grey

look at the spot welds on the top of the roof, that will tell you where the supports are, i think on the DC it is just the centre side to side.

My 130 double cab has it's roof lining off and there is a roof support running from the windscreen centre to the front seat headrests. then the support is from side to side where the roof join is. 130 crew cab
