Noooooooo! Rust hole!
Thought I'd Dinitrol my 07 Puma ahead of winter. Whilst poking around I've discovered a full on hole where the c pillar meets the floor just inside the second row door. A firm poke with my index finger and I was all the way through. Seems crud build up on the outrigger below is the cause.

Not happy, but could be worse I suppose. Just need to figure out the best way to patch it now. Best ring my Dad and ask to borrow his Mig. Make sure the top of your outriggers are clean folks! 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS

Ouch.

I have 1990 Tdi CSW. This summer I fitted a pair of those front of rear wheels mud shields to stop all of the crud being packed on top of the cross members. Mine were not as bad as the photos but I would not hesitate in recommending the shields. I applied Dinatrol cavity wax to the box section and underseal to the whole area before fitting the guards

When I have used a Land Rover in the crud I always used to wash off the underneath especially where said crud would build up. Preventative maintenance works wonders Thumbs Up

You will find a bung underneath if you get under the vehicle. Same with the B post. Always worth taking these out and flushing if you have done any serious wading/offroading. Careful with flushing the B post as it opens up inside the cab. Thumbs Up
