I picked up a set of sliding windows and a slick shift kit for my 90, among a few other things. Great show, could have bought a lot more!

I bought a recovery strap from a rather stressed Brendan which came with a handy strap to keep it tidy, a Mantec wheel carrier from Witham SV and some ratchet axle stands from the Sealey stand. Also bought a new Bearmach Safari Door seal which was 3" too long when I came to fit it, but actually works unlike the original one that was held in place with tape so I could close the door.
Click image to enlarge The axle stands are 3t each (it says 6t the pair) and were £20 for the two - the guy on the Sealey stand actually let me wander off with one of them to see how high up a Defender it came which surprised me, I thought they'd be more difficult than that. The wheel carrier came in a Land Rover Genuine Parts box which really surprised me, why is that a genuine part? Anyway, it was only £120 brand new which seemed remarkably cheap given Flatdog wanted twice that. I tried to by a Slickshift but they would only take cash, no cheques or cards so that failed. Considered buying the Wipac LED light kit from Flatdog for £110 (8 lights plus relay) but didn't in the end, that got put in the "can manage without" box. Had a good play with the Indel B and National Luna fridges from APB, and the SnoMaster fridges from Tuff Trek. A SnoMaster is now on the shopping list. The Indel B was OK but rather plastic-y. The NL was good but had issues and is far too expensive even at the £900 they were asking for the 50 and 52l ones. You could forgive the niggles if they weren't so pricey but at that much I'd want perfection. The SnoMaster does a lot of things better than the NL and seemed built well, they're not as cheap as the Indel B but a lot cheaper than the NL. As a package, I think the SnoMaster wins for me. Plus Dara seems like a nice chap! |

I resisted hard especially the set of take off Bowler wheels on the TMD stand at nearly half price. Wish i'd bought myself the slickshift at show price.
I did buy a vinyl registration to put on the roof (might help if it's stolen) and only a fiver. And star buy was the door bell Click image to enlarge Oh and oops buy was a refurbed Twisted DRL Bumper James MY2012 110 2.2TDCi XS SW Orkney Grey - http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic43410.html MY1990 110 200TDi SW beautifully faded Portofino Red - https://www.defender2.net/forum/post743641.html#743641 MY1984 90 V8 Slate Grey - https://www.defender2.net/forum/post744557.html#744557 Instagram @suffolk_rovers |

Those style sliding windows above I have, they have been very good.
I also bought those Sealey axle stands early this year, Proved invaluable for a spring change and are very good. $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R 🇬🇧ðŸ´ó §ó ¢ó ¥ó ®ó §ó ¿ðŸ´ó §ó ¢ó ·ó ¬ó ³ó ¿ðŸ´ó §ó ¢ó ³ó £ó ´ó ¿ðŸ‡®ðŸ‡ªðŸ‡ºðŸ‡¸â›½ï¸ðŸ›¢ï¸âš™ï¸ðŸ§°ðŸ’ª |

We made three trips back to the car, one with two very heavy/bulky windows. The lack of a card machine at the slick shift stand nearly meant we couldn't buy one but luckily we managed to get some cash out before the machine ran out of cash!
I had seen the various slick shift threads on here and only ended up buying one because they had example gearboxes to test the feel of before buying. Matt. '89 90 CSW with a 3.5 V8 conversion (WIP) - http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic46809.html |

Slickshift bolts on to the gearbox converting it to short shift tighter gearbox, youtube it. Feels a lot better on there demo rig and a lot of people seem to be raving over it.
bumper was only seen on way out at 6:30pm so kind of bought it and carried out but you can go back and forth should you wish it isn't far James MY2012 110 2.2TDCi XS SW Orkney Grey - http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic43410.html MY1990 110 200TDi SW beautifully faded Portofino Red - https://www.defender2.net/forum/post743641.html#743641 MY1984 90 V8 Slate Grey - https://www.defender2.net/forum/post744557.html#744557 Instagram @suffolk_rovers |

Did not buy a lot of stuff, but had a great time, met some nice people....
Spent a while on the 4x4 Overlander stand, met Brendan & Barbera, and bought some of their bonnet hinges: Click image to enlarge I did look at the Croytec and Optimill ones but settled for these... The Croytec I thought were a bit of a let-down. It was between Optimill and the ones I bought... Defender "Puma" 2.4 110 County Utility (possibly the last of the 2.4's) |

+1 for a slickshift (looking forward to getting this on now!)
2 x new bonnet 'bushes' to stop the bonnet rattling. A brand new defendervent kit for a tenner (i'll probably fit this when the dash comes out to solve some leaks.) Plus had a good play on the off road course which wasn't too taxing. Although I did come back minus one mud flap but it was already hanging loose when i started Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge 2002 Defender 110 CSW TD5 |

I walked for a bit, then a bloke in a golf cart drove past and I persuaded his passenger that I was a more deserving occupant and needed help. The nice chappie called Steve then took my almost all the way back to my car. |
