I was re-reading some threads about restricted airflow due to fitted snorkels or to small diameter airducting, and then wondered if anyone had fitted the Wolf Air Intake Grille in combination with larger diameter ducting. It seems to me that the "open" area of the Wolf Intake is larger than the standard side grille, and probably also larger dan the cross sectional area of most snorkels...

As I understand the Wolf air intake was from both sides with ducts under the bonnet coming together in a 'V' connection. So not only are there two intakes, when off road in water the vehicle is unlikey to be horizontal and one grill be open to atmosphere. Hopefully
This always seemed a very sensible army mod and I'm surprised not to see adverts for it in aftermarket web sites .. ? Sold the much modified 110 2.8, in Oz Brought the 90 home from Switzerland ... |
