Hahaha ... great picture! From the plate this Landy is from the Limpopo province and the heart of "Toyotadom" in South Africa! I have also seen a decal on Toyotas here over the tow hitch that reads "Land Rover attachment point"! With the end of the current Defender range I fear that this honourable rivalry will decline. The soft models of both manufacturers just don't have it! Personally I will always relish the moment when I watched at the Zimbabwe 4x4 challenge, a stock standard 300 TDi pick-up out pull four (consecutively) Land Cruiser pick-ups! Three with the 4.2 diesel and one modified with a Perkins engine. After much thinking about this I can only conclude it had to do with the transmission and tyre size...but that is a discussion for another thread.

As for my own son I got him on the act early....perhaps is slogan would read " I would rather be pushed in my Land Rover than sit in a Toyota"
