I'm the long suffering wife to Howard a recently proud new defender owner.....
I'm not normally interested but I happened to look over his shoulder and see your Audi then the brake calipers although I might kill him for investing my handbag funds into his defender in a similar way. Have to ask...will you get new alloys to show off the beautiful new calipers? I think you need different alloys for full subtle one upmanship... just a wife's view. I do like a nice set of wheels but it has to look good as well as live up to expectations.... Also, contrasting stitching would have been good on those lovely seats... I probably said too much now, just know they are all terribly envious because, and trust me on this, their other halves would kill them for spending this kind of time & money on their trucks. I am lucky that my wife is as mad about cars as I am. The only other wheels I really like on defenders are wolfs, but with the brakes I can't go below 18" so the twisted rims will remain. All my seats are being retrimmed in ebony leather and some lunar stitch but that will be the last thing I do when I am nearly complete, made the decision to keep the re trim more subtle as I could easily go off anything too drastic. Lol I took the pedal covers off it just to make sure I could fit them easily to the defender although the footrest is a different shape in the C7 RS6 so I am using the earlier model with the rectangular rest. I love the Land Rover recaros, to be honest I don't really need any adjustment, and i think they suit the V8. They do look comfy though! Andy

Transformed the way it feels, given I'm still running heavy duty springs front and rear in a bacially empty 110 it's amazingly comfortable now. Ed

What are you doing with the redundant engine? Can't wait to see the results…
Will you be putting the winch back on? |

Engine and box are part exchanged. No plans to put a winch on, just don't need one. Andy
