Hi Guys,
I want to fit a headlight buzzer and need to identify the easiest to access headlight feed. It occurred to me that the centre dash/console illuminates when the side/headlights are on, and that could be used for the buzzer. Does anyone think this is a bad idea? Also, does anyone know the wire colours for it? As ever, many thanks. |

Having had to go back and switch off the lights (as I'm used to auto switching on our family car) twice in the last 2 days this looks perfect.
Can anyone advise where the best place is to pick up the ignition live (white in the blog post). Thanks Keith Keith |

I'm not sure if the Puma differs from the 300 Tdi on this, but an easy place would be on the back of the ciggarette lighter, as there you have a ignition live and an instrument light on (which is on with sidelights on). Cheers, Vincent

^^ VeeTee, nice simple answer , will check there is space behind there for the buzzer and possibly go with that.
It's probably worth changing the socket to a USB one while I have the dash open. Thanks Keith |
