Hello,
This is the second time I get a CEL light during the 3.5 years of owning my 2013 Defender, I haven't driven the car in a while(3 week vacation)and the battery died. I replaced it last week and got a CEL as soon as I drove and suddenly I hear a more of whoosh sound when on boost. I suppose there is a boost leak, I got a similar occurrence before and the dealership changed some pipes. The car is slightly in limp mode, when pushing it won't go as fast as before. Would it be rational to replace these OEM parts with OEM or go for silicone hoses ? Its a very annoying thing since I have always thought this car would be very reliable. The truck has 48,500 KM What are your thoughts? 2016 Defender 90 Adventure Edition |

Order some Entreq stainless steel intercooler pipes. Same time order an Entreq intercooler. Your leaking pipes problems will be solved once and for all, and the uprated intercooler will do your engine only good in the temps you usually drive there. Details below, those pipes are for the 2.4, but they also exist for the 2.2.

Hello,
I have got a BAS remap and and an alive ultimate intercooler ? Will the new SS pipes fit or I have to order the entreq intercooler + pipes as well ? 2016 Defender 90 Adventure Edition |

I suspect they all have the same diameter intake and output pipe, so my guess is yes, it will fit. But send Entreq a mail with the question.

Irrespective of what you read on forums, would say give it a try if you are really interested. My experience became an excellent one, and I know a number of others like me.
