I don't think you want a decayed one. Whistle Laughing

On a serious note, quite easy.
I have a Terrafirma centre and the rest OE, it's done well but fit isn't great.

I'd go for cat back at some point instead, probably will at some point when funds allow.

Easiest and somewhat drastic solution is to take an angle grinder to your original catalytic convertor pipe and remove it in two pieces. If you want it out in one piece remove the front cross member and unbolt the front propshaft. Remove the heat shields and undo the manifold bolts (4 off). Spray them first and leave them for an hour or two. Extraction from underneath can be tricky and as the catalytic convertor is the size of a small emersion heater it is a tight squeeze. I used a trolley jack to slightly lift the engine to get the extra 2-3mm to get it out. With manipulation it will come out.

The 'catalytic police' will be along shortly to tell you to save your money as it is a potential MOT fail. Your vehicle, your choice, it is IMHO still one of the cheapest enhancements you can do for your engine to allow it to breathe by releasing the strangulation hold the catalytic convertor has on it and allows your turbo to spool up quicker.

My 2.4......Straight through centre box and no rear.

I must agree and also say don't chop it too remove, use a BFH after removing the four bolts on the cross member and out it pops! I used some anti seize on the bolts and mating surfaces just in case I have too go back! Thumbs Up Very Happy Very Happy
