Series ones out on the plain today.

Just a few photos of a good day out today (despite the weather!)

Every year we have a day on Salisbury plains organised by a local series 1 club rep, meeting at Market Lavington in the green Dragon for coffee and bacon rolls.
then we split into two groups, head off in a figure of eight, meet in the middle for lunch.

The last two years have coincided with the village fete at Netheravon, which we get invited to display the vehicles, have a pint, and a natter then carry on around.

We usually cover around 50 miles, a good day out is always had by all, even though the weather became quite bad after lunch.

Nice to see the classics still being used and not just sitting in a garage/showroom.

Saw half of the group on the perimeter road between Urchfont and Netheravon.

I was in the Keswick green 110 heading the same direction.

Looked like you were having fun, although not the most hospitable day for it
