Ok, i know this has been asked before but i am still slightly bamboozled about the whole thing.
So what i want to buy are steel modular wheels (as much as i want Bowlers, I am frequently on rocky mountain passes and cant bear damaging them) i dont do motorways very often so its mainly very windy tarmac or mountain tracks. I think 16" wheels will be better for the higher sidewall and potential increase in grip for snow. My question is, i want wide tyres on the 110 on black steel wheels, how do i sort out the offset to be sure they fit within the arch and not foul when doing tight turns in tiny villages and hairpin tracks? |

16" wheels with an 8" rim width and an ET0 zero offset (the wheels sit 33mm further out than standard but are still within the arch) will do you fine. These wheels will take tyres to a width of 305 with no adjustments, rubbing or fouling issues. I have these size wheels on mine with the same offset and the aforementioned 305x70 tyres.

1,300 miles between MOTs this year. Thinking again of selling it. It only has 38k miles on it. Custom Vehicle Operations Harley Davidson Pro Street Breakout is beckoning and at £25k with the dollar exchange rate being as it is and with the factory based modifications I want, the Land Rover would have to go. I did give Customsteve first refusal. But it went a bit quiet.
