A client of mine has a CLS 63 AMG 2013 with 50k kms and just offered me a straight swap for my FFRR 2009 supercharged. Mine has 80k miles.
Am I just being tempted by the engine or are they any good? I love my RR but been thinking about trading it for a new D4 before they stop making them. |

Maybe a bit childish? |

What's not to like about a 6.2L V8 Merc
I've only been in a E55 Estate (a mere 5.5l V and its an awesome bit of kit. Funny enough my dad was after a white CLS63 Estate with light interior but rare as hens teeth, so he has a CLS350cdi ex demo with all the toys under the sun to go with his FFRR v8 He like it, even this model pretty quick but 45mpg I like the CLS, but seems it never really took off? but then I like the R class also R63... even rarer than hens teeth I say sway, especially if you have the Landy also. |

The D4 I want is €70k here and my RR is worth €40k.
Maybe I get the 63 and spend €30k on a low mileage D4. It's really for the wife because her X5 is useless in the winter here. The idea of that big v8 roaring up the mountain roads is incredibly tempting! |
